Late night, didn’t go out, nothing to do. Here we go a couple of bets I like for tomorrow in College Basketball.

Iowa State +4.5 @ Texas A&M

I fucking hate Iowa State and especially Georges Niang, but betting is business and this Texas A&M team is EXTREMELY overrated. To be honest this is just the eye test for me, and Texas A&M actually beat Baylor. Baylor beat ISU @ Hilton, an accomplishment few can say they’ve done. But that was a different Iowa State team. Iowa State is one of the hottest teams in the nation. Beating Oklahoma and Kansas in a two week span cannot go unseen. In addition, Texas A&M is coming off a loss to Arkansas where they looked REAL sluggish. This probably is the biggest home game in Texas A&M history (first time they’ve ever been ranked in the AP top 5), but I don’t care.

Iowa State 78-73

Oklahoma -4.5 @ LSU

What a matchup we’re going to have in Baton Rouge. The two best players, Ben Simmons and Buddy Hield, in the nation going head-to-head in the Big 12/SEC challenge. I’m hopping on the Big 12 bandwagon. Not because I think the Big 12 is everything everyone says they are, but because I think the SEC is very down this year. Oklahoma can spread the floor with one of the most lethal outside shooting attacks in the country. They have three players shooting at or over 45% 3pt line (Hield, Cousins, and Woodard). Don’t forget about Spangler either. He will probably draw Simmons on the defensive end and I think he will be up to the task.

Oklahoma 82-71

UAB +1.5 @ Marshall

No exaggeration, these two have been two of the hottest teams in the Mid-Major world since conference play has started. UAB was on a 14 game win streak prior to their loss on Thursday to Western Kentucky. Both at 7-1 in C-USA, but UAB will come out firing in this one. Local great (St. Pauls Catholic School) Nick Norton will be tossing bloods. It will be a close game, but that big game experience for UAB will show in the final minutes.

UAB 70-68

Florida -1.5 vs. WVU

Everything points to West Virginia, so give me Florida all day.

Florida 65-58

NC State +5 vs. Miami

Miami is coming off of a huge win at home against a struggling (understatement) Duke team. That being said, Duke owns them in the ACC year in and year out so it WAS a huge win for Miami. I think The U has a bit of a hangover in this game. One of the nations top guards, Cat Barber, will have another big game, but they will lose in a tight, down-to-the-wire type of game (and still cover).

Miami 66-62
